Food Assistance Programs
At The Bagby Way, we provide essential food assistance to families in need across North Texas. Our programs are designed to alleviate hunger and support those facing food insecurity in our community.
COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKER SUPPORT
Our Community Health Workers help individuals and families understand available resources, identify barriers and connect with appropriate healthcare and social services
WRAPAROUND SERVICES
Get help navigating pregnancy and family resources, diapers and essentials, housing, transportation, benefits, healthcare referrals, education, employment and other community needs.
CASE MANAGEMENT FOR CHILDREN AND PREGNANT WOMEN
The Bagby Way provides Case Management for Children and Pregnant Women (CPW), a Texas Medicaid service that helps eligible children and pregnant women access health-related medical, social, educational and other appropriate services.
Eligibility, coverage and any required authorization must be verified.
CLINICAL AND WELLNESS REFERRALS
When a client needs clinical or wellness services beyond The Bagby Way’s nonprofit scope, the client may be referred to Harmonia Health & Wellness or another qualified provider. Referrals are based on need, availability, eligibility and client choice.
Harmonia Health & Wellness is a separate healthcare provider. Receiving assistance from The Bagby Way does not require anyone to become a Harmonia patient.
A warm handoff occurs only with appropriate consent, and only the minimum information necessary for the authorized referral will be shared.
Eligibility, coverage and any required authorization must be verified.
FIGHTING HUNGER WITH COMMUNITY PARTNERS
Through its Community Distribution Partner relationship with Sharing Life Community Outreach, a North Texas Food Bank Hub, The Bagby Way helps bring food resources closer to the families and communities it serves.
